I have been receiving lots of requests to post something like this. So here you go!
It's hard to flirt if you're gay, right? You might be scared if that stranger you're eyeing on might be straight and punch you on the face! LOL! Fortunately, for the past years that I've been flirting on guys, I haven't had any instances like that.
This list is tried and tested. I have researched the art of flirting for so many years and done them myself! Haha! I will have to base on some stories from friends as well.
This may also work for straight people, as flirting is actually not gender-biased.
1. EYE CONTACT
Spotted a guy you like? Nice!
Several guides say that if a guy stares back on the 3rd glance, then he likes you. Example, you check out that cute guy at the gym. Your eyes meet at the first time. You can't stop looking at him so you just do it til the 2nd time he looks at you. On the 3rd time, make sure to give him a friendly smile. Not a freaky smile. If he smiles back, then you've got him!
I say, you don't have to actually count those stares. You can approach the guy on the first glance. Say a thing or two like "Are you new here?" or something appropriate to your situation. It's because a second or third glance might make him feel uneasy.
2. MAKE A FRIENDLY APPROACH
Pickup lines are ok but make sure to deliver it as best as you could.

Once you approach a guy, you can just ask a simple question or make a conversation. Like if you're crushing on your officemate, "How's your workload today?" or if you're at a party, "Do you always party here?" or simply notice how good his outfit is.
Just keep it cool. Remember, you don't have to wait for the guy to approach you. YOU approach him! Be a go-getter and do it. Trust me. You will be amazed with how he will react. Use your charm!
3. SMILE
This should either go with the eye contact and approach. Remember to brush your teeth! Haha!
4. ALWAYS LOOK YOUR BEST
Whether you're going outside to just buy at the store or whatever, you need to look good. Who knows, your soulmate might be on your way, right?
5. USE YOUR HUMOR
People like funny people. It's a sign that you are positive and happy. People don't like negative people so don't share your problems on your first conversations.
6. DON'T OVERDO IT
Of course, you don't want to give your guy negative vibes so giving too much stares and smiles can give him uneasiness.
7. BE CONFIDENT
Confidence is sexy. Of course, too much is not.
8. GOOD RESPONSE?
If a guy likes you, he might even give his digits right away!
But on more realistic times, you just make friends with him first, and ask the digits later. You will have to see how your flirting turns out.
If you feel like the guy is not eager to make friends with you, like giving simple yes or no answers, then move on. NEXT!
