Another foreigner enters the Pinoy Big Brother house
Last year, Brazilian-Japanese Actor Daniel Matsunaga won as Pinoy Big Brother Big Winner despite not having even a drop of Filipino blood running in his veins.
In this year's Pinoy Big Brother 737 edition, a new foreigner is set to join the popular reality show. Male model Richard Juan is the newest addition to the Big Brother house. He is Chinese and he was a runner up in Eat Bulaga's contest "You're my Foreignoy".
Okay. We get it. He's goodlooking, a genius, and has Pusong Pinoy, but really, PINOY Big Brother? Can we leave this show exclusively for Filipinos?
The show, if we're not mistaken, is a reflection of the Filipinos' story as their tagline goes "Teleserye ng totoong buhay ng Pinoy". Does this mean that we Filipinos are so full of colonial mentality that we still let foreigners win over us because we love them so much?
There has to be other channels for these guys to gain popularity other than Pinoy Big Brother. It just doesn't sound right.

Is this ForeigNoy pretending not to know how to speak Tagalog?
Karan Singhdole may be fully Indian, but doesn’t he really know how to speak Philippines’ native language?
Philippines’ longest running TV show Eat Bulaga holds a contest for handsome foreign guys who strive to be a Filipino: can speak Tagalog words and can perform a Tagalog song/dance number. It should be a challenge for the contestants but looks like Karan Singhdole from India takes Tagalog words way too easily.
