Philippines’ top modeling agencies battle it out in Garage magazine’s “Model army” editorial

Garage magazine lists the top five modeling agencies in the Philippines today and features their current roster of male models.

According to Garage, the top five modeling agencies in the country today are Elite Manila, Ideal People models, Reco modeling agency, Mercator Artist and Model management, and IM Agency.

First on the list is Elite Manila which is known for having foreign models mostly and high fashion looks. Silver, Mark McMahon’s dog is included on the shoot but sadly, he passed away a few days ago.

Elite Manila male models:

Bruno Amora (Brazilian), Keane Robinson (Fil-British), Kyle Greer (American), Tommy Esguerra (Fil-American), Rafael Do Prado (Brazilian [Half German, Quarter Spanish and Quarter Italian]), Mark McMahon (Fil-British), Wesley Pereira (Brazilian), Italo Laurenthie (Brazilian)

The model lineup should have been better with Callum David and Charlie Matthews, agree?

Marco Reyes in the new Smart TVC

This TVC has just been released yesterday but it has already been making so much noise!

Life's biggest moments deserve fast, reliable internet. Only from the biggest network. That's why life online should never be on hold.

I wonder what makes it click?

First is because of Cat. This beautiful girl from IM Agency looks like a goddess in this tvc. She’s the one every girl hopes to be and every guy’s dream girl. Don’t be fooled if it says “Meg Vargas” on the video.

Second is the storyline. We, the viewers, can very much relate to their story as we use social networking sites more often nowadays with our loved ones.

Third is the twist. No one would have ever thought that these lovebirds are in two far places apart! We love surprises.



Fourth is because of Marco Reyes! The face, smile, and voice makes us wanna melt! Okay, again, his name is not Marco Reyes as it is just the name of the guy he was portraying in the commercial.

Fifth reason is the kiss! OMG. This tvc felt like a movie, almost! We would definitely want to watch this two in a full-length movie. They have good chemistry plus everyone’s hooked already.

I was very lucky to have the chance to visit the IM Agency office last week.

It was a surreal experience, I tell you. It was my first time to actually go to a modeling agency in my life!

I have been writing about this amazing agency before. Read my previous posts about them here.

Enrique by Miguel Eduardo

I received this picture this morning by photographer Miguel Eduardo but wasn’t able to post it because I was in school.

Later in the afternoon, about 4:30pm, I visited the IM Agency office. I was surprised to see Enrique arrive to do a VTR. He was wearing a fitted grey shirt and was looking incredibly handsome as always. It was just sad that I wasn’t able to talk to him because I was talking to the boss. :)

The VTR was just quick so he left after it was done.

Well for sure we’ll get to see each other again, Enrique. ;)

Pedro: The Sailor Man

IM’s Pedro has 17 pages of himself in the Garage February 2012 issue!

The last time I talked to Pedro was last Cosmo Bachelor Bash 2011. I asked him of until when he plans to stay here in the Philippines for his modeling jobs and he said that it was like until end of November 2011.

But good thing that he’s still here and doing more jobs in the country.

Don’t get me wrong, I am actually wishing he’d stay in the Philippines forever!

    

I really like these pictures because it gives the old American sailor man feel.

    

As always, Pedro gives us fierce photos! He’s just perfect.

    

Short shorts for men should be the “in” thing. I think that it’s really fashionable.

  

One trick to get this “nautical” look is by incorporating stripes into your wardrobe.
