Magic Mike: sex, male strippers, and more

I just saw the premiere of Magic Mike here in the Philippines and it's gotta be the movie of the year!

Magic Mike is a story of a male stripper who dreams to be a successful entrepreneur. The story is inspired by Channing Tatum's own story.

I love how the story was narrated: it was clear and easily understood.

If you haven't watched the movie yet, I'm gonna warn you right now, you'll be seeing a lot of Channing's and Alex' hot asses!

The feminine crowd would be pleased with the boys whirlwind performances for sure, but it doesn't end there. Magic Mike has got a timely story and important message to tell.

Channing, the star of the movie, shows us not only his superb & out-of-this-world dance moves, but also his acting chops. He is at home in that stage and it shows but you will also see why he is where he is now.

It was the first time that I saw a movie with Alex Pettyfer in it. He appeared as a cute and innocent young guy in this movie who later on was introduced to stripping by Mike (Channing) accidentally. I was surprised at how good his body was!

Despite being an oldie, Matthew McConaughey has the body and sex appeal for his part. He definitely looks like a person all the guys should look up to when it comes to taking care of his body.

I was quite surprised that Matt Bomer doesn't have much of a role in this movie. I super love his dancing though.

It was a challenge to focus on Channing and Alex when there's super hottie Joe Manganiello strutting on the background with his super chiseled body. The hunk proved that he has serious dancing skills!

Magic Mike has that perfect balance in enticing the viewers and delivering a message. I know that majority of the girls would be watching this movie but I really advise that the (straight) guys would also consider watching it. It is a movie that one can reflect on and think about.


I just dunno if there were cuts on the Philippine showing but I will definitely look forward to seeing it again either one of these days or in DVD (for some exclusive scenes, perhaps).

Got my Magic Mike exclusive invites!

Yay I got my 2 exclusive premiere tickets for Magic Mike!

On July 10, the premiere of Magic Mike will be held at SM Megamall and July 11 will be its regular showing.

Although I've waited for more than 30 minutes last night for the invites, it's totally worth it.

I just wish that I will be able to watch the movie with a HUNK... If not, I'll just watch it with a friend.

Magic Mike’s Philippine play date

I was expecting that Magic Mike’s Philippine play date was the same as its US play date…

Readers were already asking me when the Philippine play date and that was when I was confused so I researched online but to no avail…

Today, I was able to visit the mall and asked when it will be released, the cinema lady advised that it will be shown by July 11, 2012.

Guess my birthday gift came in late. :-/

Magic Mike: “It’s raining men” video!!!

It’s raining men on my birthday, thanks to Magic Mike!!!

It was like they knew that it was my day that they prepared a video like this for me, right?

Magic Mike has gotta be the hunkiest movie of the year! The movie has got Channing Tatum, Matt Bomer, Joe Manganiello, Alex Pettyfer, and Matthew McConaughey for its cast – as STRIPPERS!

I admit it, I am not a real movie fan because I only watch movies with hunks in them and Magic Mike’s gotta be my most favorite movie of all time!!!

Channing Tatum plays a stripper in new movie “Magic Mike”

I saw the trailer of Magic Mike last month and I was soo excited to watch it!

I think that this is a really great movie because it has an original concept and (I believe that) no other mainstream movie has ever done this before. I also like the fact that Channing Tatum actually started out as a stripper himself in real life!

Magic Mike is an upcoming comedy film directed by Steven Soderbergh starring Channing Tatum, Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey, Cody Horn, Joe Manganiello, and Matt Bomer in leading roles. The film is expected to be released on June 29, 2012 in the US.

Veteran stripper Magic Mike (Tatum) teaches a novice (Pettyfer) about the occupation while seeking a lifestyle outside the world of stripping with the help of his protege's sister (Horn). They work at the club Xquisite, which is owned by the former stripper Dallas (McConaughey).
