The Magnum Craze: Are You In or Out?


Are you one of those people who loves the new Magnum ice cream bar?

Or are you one of those people who thinks that all the craze is annoying and that it’s the social climber’s ice cream?

As Chuvaness says, the success of Magnum didn’t just rely on the ice cream itself. There are 6 ambassadors of the brand who each has a large twitter following namely Erwan and Solenn Heussaff, Raymond Gutierrez, Liz Uy, Tessa Prieto-Valdes and Rajo Laurel. So when the ambassadors released the hashtag, it just automatically trended.

I’ve tried the Magnum classic myself and I couldn’t find anything special on it, but I heard that the almond one is the better tasting ice cream. Haven’t tried it yet though.

About those people who proudly label Magnum as the “social climber’s ice cream” on your posts, last time I checked, about 3/4 of the Philippines is of the C class. So I just hope that you guys are rich enough to say such words.

Yes. The ice cream is expensive and all. If you don’t want it, then don’t buy it. If you find your friends’ Magnum posts annoying, then delete them. LOL

As for me, I just have to try that almond flavor of Magnum and see if it’s really worth the hype.
