The Mr. Gay World Philippines 2011 Finals Night

It was a festive night for the fab people of Malate last Saturday (Nov. 19, 2011) as the Mr. Gay World Philippines has been crowned in Bed Manila.

I swear I didn’t have a clue that the event was happening that night!

I was just invited by my friend to go to the event hours before. Luckily, I was in Mandaluyong that time and I was free so I went ahead and attended the show.

It’s a good thing that my friend invited me there because it was such a good show. I just wonder why it was not promoted very well.

When we arrived in Bed Manila, we were already late because the pageant started at 9pm. It was already 11:30 when we arrived there. The finalists were already in their swimwear and the winner of the most photogenic award was being given.

When I saw the contestants, I immediately fell in love with Carlito! His look stood out from the other candidates.

The posters on the walls makes me want to go to Bed more often!

See, Bed is the only party club I go to in Malate. I’ve never been to Chelu, Obar, and other party clubs in there.

Going back, I’ve missed this number from the candidates…

And almost missed them in their swimwear…

Beauty queen Nina Ricci Alagao hosted the show with the impersonator of Michelle Obama and the former Mr. Gay World Philippines 2009.

During breaks, I can’t help noticing the cute guys amidst the crowd!

The judges asked the contestants their questions. I must say that these Bekis are really good because they were able to answer the questions like beauty queens, they were quick and intelligent!
