John Spainhour is a former marine in the US and has been assigned in Iran as a Sniper for several years. With that military background, we can be assured that this guy is tough enough to face whatever challenge he may encounter.

He came to the Philippines in 2011 and tried modeling. With his looks and build, he booked commercial jobs, fashion shows, and TV appearances in an instant.

In 2012, he won the Century Tuna Superbods which made him seal his reputation as the one to watch in the Philippines modeling industry.

In September 2012, he was chosen as one of Cosmopolitan Magazine Philippines’ centerfolds marking his spot as one of the country’s hottest men.

John became an endorser of retail giant Bench in 2013.

You may have seen him on TV recently as he appeared on Kris TV as Kris Aquino’s guest.

He was hailed as Mister World-Philippines 2014 last May 29, 2014 at the Glorietta 5 Atrium, Makati.

The last time we met John Spainhour in flesh was last Century Superbods in Boracay.

In more than 2 years of being a well-known model, John is still as approachable as ever. We never felt any air of arrogance from him.

His male model friend Sam Ajdani will be competing as Mr. World 2015 while John will compete in Torbay, England this coming June 15, 2014.

Mr. World-Philippines 2012 Andrew Wollf placed first runner-up while Columbia won the said title.
