I always thought that Carl Guevara is one of the most beautiful guys in the country right now.
He's got that beautiful combination of a baby face and super ripped body. Who would've thought that he used to be a fat kid before?
So this month, let's all welcome Carl Guevara as this month's Sexiest Man of the month!
BIOGRAPHY:
After winning the Be Bench model search in 2007, Carl (then called Carlo Guevara) joined ABS-CBN’s talent pool, Star Magic. In the same year, he made his first television appearance as one of the cast members of Star Magic Presents: Abt Ur Luv, Ur Lyf 2 alongside Carla Humphries, Victor Basa and Empress Schuck.
Under Star Magic, he did several episodes of Your Song in 2008 including My Only Hope and Someone Like You. A year later, he appeared in ABS-CBN’s remake of Kambal Sa Uma and ultimately in Agimat: Mga Ang Alamat ni Ramon Revilla presents Tiagong Akyat. The latter turned out to be his last project for ABS-CBN.
In 2010, Carlo became one of several Kapamilya talents to sign an exclusive contract with GMA Network – trailing behind Hero Angeles, Michelle Madrigal, Joross Gamboa and Heart Evangelista. His first show for the network is the recently concluded S.O.P. Fully Charged.
His change in network allegiance prompted him to change his screen name from Carlo to Carl, allowing him to transition from a teen idol to a serious, more mature actor. His biggest break on television to date is the lead role on Dear Friend: My Stalking Heart opposite Jenica Garcia.
After moving to GMA, Carl appeared in 2010’s hit fantaserye The Last Prince, forming a love triangle with onscreen sweethearts Kris Bernal and Aljur Abrenica. He went on to star in the currently-running, top-rating sit-com Jejemon, headlined by top comedienne Eugene Domingo.
Carl’s films include Metro Manila Film Festival entries Desperadas 2 and Shake, Rattle and Roll XI; international filmfest entry Biyaheng Lupa; and the recent comedy film Mamarazzi.
