Are Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo encouraging viewers to stop Social Distancing with their ad?

We've checked the internet before writing this post and it is so weird that nobody seems to notice that the two big stars seem to negate Social Distancing on their tv commercial especially now that we are in the middle of a pandemic.

Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo's new Head & Shoulders tv commercial is making us cringe whenever we see it being aired on our screens - it's basically telling us to get close to others in this time when the number of Covid patients are still rising.

Based on what we saw on the internet, they filmed the tvc early this year in Bangkok but based on these behind-the-scenes photos, did they shoot the print ad only this July 2020 in Manila when strict protocols are being implemented?

Okay so we all know that Head & Shoulders has been using the same storyline in their ads for a long time but isn't the message that they're trying to convey inappropriate now?

Watch the tv commercial here:

At the end of the clip, there's a hashtag #HEADSTOGETHER and a caption saying "So everyday, you can be even closer".

We're not experts here but the ad kinda sends a wrong message and might confuse people.
