MANILA, PHILIPPINES - The
Blue Ball 2014 was the very first dance party of its kind that I have ever attended and it’s amazing!
Last February 28, 2014, the Blue Ball 2014 held its very first dance party at Metrotent, Metrowalk, Ortigas. I didn’t know what to expect when I was on my way to the event. I was invited by a friend who constantly parties at Bed Manila to go to Blue Ball but all of them whom I invited ended up not showing up so I ended up going solo for the night.
…I didn’t really bother ;)
First, I went straight to the comfort room. Surprise! There were a lot of free condoms.
The venue was so big and a bit cold.
I was a bit early so there wasn’t much people around yet. DJ Sinna G was already playing.
Gogo boys start to dance on top of those boxes…
There was a VIP pre-party so I joined in. Luckily, DJ Spencer Reed was also there…
Here’s how it looks like at the VIP party: there was an open bar til 12mn, free cigarettes and drinks, plus you get to party with the DJ’s!
Meanwhile, down the dance party area, people were already getting busy.
Boys, boys, boys!
At first, most of the people were just standing on the side of the venue but later on, they scattered and enjoyed the party.
Drag performances gave the crowd entertainment for the night. The all-male dance group 38 Degrees didn’t fail to deliver with their sexy moves.

Some of the Gogo Boys started to actually enjoy themselves and gave the crowd a show…
A circuit dance party like this may be new for us Filipinos, but it was a great first for sure! Looking forward to more dance parties like this.
The night went crazy and before I know it, it already ended the way I wanted it to be…
